XXII. The Official Moral, Which Nobody Will FollowURL copied
So what is the story of humanity.
It is not merely war, invention, migration, worship, industry, code, empire, hunger, wonder, and progress.
It is also butts, cats, dragons, bad songs, louder songs, shiny hats, ceremonial nonsense, and one eternal urge to put flames on things that do not need flames.
Humanity keeps surviving because it keeps improvising.
Humanity keeps improvising because it never truly stops being a cave creature with a dangerous amount of curiosity.
Give that creature mud and it invents bricks.
Give it bronze and it invents swords.
Give it electricity and it invents arcades.
Give it the internet and it invents this page.
And honestly, against all logic, that feels correct.
THE MORAL, ACCORDING TO THE CATS, IS SIMPLE: BUILD CIVILIZATION IF YOU MUST, BUT DO NOT FORGET WHO SIGNED OFF ON THE VIBES.
